New Youtube Channel

Written by The Shinkickers.

Our original Shinickers Youtube channel was completely deleted after our unfortunate change of management in 2012.  Luckily for the band, our website admin at Druidstone Media had taken regular backups of the best Youtube videos and was able to create the new band Youtube channel very quickly and easily, and without any fuss.

The Official Shinkickers Youtube channel is now with the best of the original youtube videos, and some extras too!

The guys in the band would like to say a big thank-you to our awesome website admin for thinking ahead and saving the day (and the Youtube videos!) it's great to have you on the team and working for us behind the scenes!

Here is what our website admin had to say about the incident:

"In the I.T. world there is no such thing as too many backups. You never know what could happen to your data. So I always backup everything of any value, and I knew the Youtube videos are valuable data which can never be replaced. So I just backed them up when ever I did the website backups.  Although I never predicted that all of the band's Youtube vidoes and the entire Youtube channel would be lost in this manner, at least I was well prepared for it.  It's just part of doing my job, data backups are an industry standard.  Any other IT professional would have done the same.

Facebook, Reverbnation, Twitter and Myspace pages remain the same as before ... and of course The Shinkickers official website here is continually under development.

New stories, photos, memorabilia will be added to the website as they surface ... people are sending us things from everywhere so if you have any news or photos of The Shinkickers from the past we'd love to include them on the new website, with your name as contributor of course.  Just contact The Shinkickers via the website, or facebook, let us know what you have and we will let you know the best way to get it to us.

All we can say at this point is that we are very excited about what's in store for The Shinkickers.  Gerry and the band are looking forward to more great gigs in Perth later in the year.  The gigs will be bigger and better than ever ... to be sure, to be sure, to be sure!

Enjoy the music!
